We are pleased to announce that after agreement with the Commercial Department at Swansea City Football Club, they have kindly agreed that they will become a collection point in their area for all unwanted football boots that are to be donated to the Boots for Africa Appeal, anyone wishing to donate boots to the appeal can drop them off at the Reception desk at the Liberty Stadium.
Our sincere thanks go to Suzanne Eames and Joe Kelly at Swansea City FC for their assistance in setting up a collection point.

“BBC Wales receive update on Boots for Africa Appeal”
Inner Frame were recently contacted by the Welsh language web site of BBC Wales Sport and asked some questions regarding the Boots for Africa Appeal, we thought we would give an update of where the appeal was at towards the end of last year and to demonstrate the efforts of Sheffield Football Club and the Boots for Africa Management Team.
To date, over 8,000 pairs of boots have been collected and sent to Africa. Countries that have received football boots so far are South Africa, Ethiopia, Botswana, Nigeria, Malawi, Zambia, Ghana and Kenya.
McDonalds is the founding partner for Boots for Africa and they are committed to the charity for 2010, providing both funding for operational support and marketing.
The Professional Footballers Association has confirmed their support for the appeal with their membership (Professional footballers) donating boots.
Virgin Atlantic have become a logistics partner (overarched by the South African Football Foundation) for the transportation of boots from the UK to South Africa (and potentially other African countries)
Direct Involvement from football clubs such as Tranmere Rovers FC, Liverpool FC, Everton FC and Portsmouth FC.
Over fifty businesses are involved including the likes of Ford Motor Company.
Mizuno are donating all their ex-display boots to the appeal.
Universities such as Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Surrey, Southampton, Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam and Leeds City College are all lending their support to the appeal.
A number of schools, clubs and charities in England and Wales are also involved.

The Boots for Africa Appeal were given a boost by the involvement of Everton Football Club.
Inner Frame received a Boots for Africa poster that had been signed by three of their players helping in promoting the appeal.
Everton FC has been kind enough to have photographs taken of the players signing the poster on the appeals behalf. Our sincere thanks are offered to Rebecca Stockdale and all the staff at Everton FC.
